CASE STUDIES CRITERIA

This component of our awards is purely submissions based. We invite all banks across the globe to provide us with model examples of the great work you are achieving with your clients on pushing the sustainability envelope.

A bank can supply an unlimited number of case studies for consideration.

See the categories within this section below.

Sustainable Innovation: Capital Markets

With specific emphasis on individual deals, these judge-led case studies awards celebrate the best in financial ingenuity, paving new ways to support clients in their bid to support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) via capital markets, lending, trade finance/supply chain finance, cash and liquidity management.

Focused on green or sustainable M&A, public equity or bond underwriting, this deal will have broken new ground within the capital markets allowing others to follow in their footsteps. Must be linked clearly to a least one SDG.

Sustainable Innovation: Lending

Targeting syndicated loans or private bilateral loans (including sustainability-linked), this financing will bring to the fore the level of sophistication required to make a loan sustainable. Must be clearly linked to at least one SDG.

Sustainable Innovation: Trade and Supply Chain Finance

Understanding that transaction and commercial banking has as much a role to play, we want to celebrate the best in trade finance or supply chain finance deals that push the sustainable agenda forward. Must be clearly linked to at least one SDG.

Sustainable Innovation: Cash and Liquidity Management

Whether it is a unique cash management pooling solution or a simple liquidity management service, we want to showcase those services that are providing customers with genuine sustainable alternatives.  Must be clearly linked to at least one SDG.
